Three Months training Course on
"Care
of Paintings including illustrated Manuscripts"
(15th November 2010 to 14th February 2011)
National
Museum is organizing three-month intensive training
course on “Care of Paintings including illustrated
Manuscripts”. The course shall start from 15th
November 2010 to 14th February 2011. The aim of training
is to impart theoretical and practical training in the
field of Conservation of all types of Paintings and
Manuscripts.
Candidates
from Academies, Departments of Archaeology, Museums,
Archives,
University,
allied institutions and practicing conservators from all
over India shall be preferred. The basic qualification
is graduate, preferably in science with one year
experience in the field of art conservation. Ten
candidates shall be selected on the basis of merit.
Suitable scholarship shall be awarded to deserving
candidates.
Employees of
Government Institutions may draw T.A/D.A from their
respective Institutions.
Application

Conservation Laboratory, National Museum, Janpath, New
Delhi-110 011 marked on top of envelope “Training in
Care of Paintings”. In-service candidates must send
their applications duly sponsored from their employer.
